Professional experience. Proven leadership.
I’m running for Franklin County Jailer to bring professional experience and proven leadership to our regional jail. Together, we can work to ensure a safe and secure facility that focuses on re-entry and reducing recidivism. I humbly ask for your vote and appreciate your support.
Meet Chuck.
Experience beyond compare.
Charles ‘Chuck’ Geveden grew up in Western Kentucky where he started his law enforcement career in 1990. He moved to Frankfort 25 years ago and made his home here. Over that time, he worked in state government as an Executive Director and Chief Administrative Officer in 3 administrations, handling multi-million-dollar budgets and supervising over 100 employees.
While in Frankfort, Chuck has worked both full-time and part-time with the Franklin County sheriff’s office under Sheriffs Collins, Clark, and Melton. Chuck is currently a special deputy with Sheriff Chris Quire, assisting with special events and assignments.
He is now employed as Director of Business Development with ViaPath Technologies, providing re-entry programs and inmate communications solutions to correctional facilities all over the country. All in all, Chuck has been working in the corrections industry now for over 12 years. He has been in dozens and dozens of jails in Kentucky, Tennessee, and across the US. Chuck has seen first hand what programs succeed, what programs have struggled, and how the operations of a correctional facility work.
Chuck has been married to his wife, Mitzi, for nearly 14 years. They have three children – Drew, Maegan and Noah. He is also a small business owner here in Franklin County.
